Sabur Digital brings local printers together for Help for Heroes


T


o raise funds for the Help for Heroes charity, Sabur Digital has wrapped the rear doors of its fleet of vans with a scene that encapsulates the experience for all that were involved in all major conflicts affecting the UK armed forces past and present. The story began in 2012 when Barnsley- based Sabur Digital was approached by the local Thornton family, who asked for help with a fundraising appeal to show support for Help for Heroes in memory of their son Private Matthew Thornton, who tragically lost his life in combat in November 2011.


The team at Sabur had no hesitation in


offering support in the familyʼs quest to raise £100,000.


Fast-forward to 2019 and Sabur approached local businesses and local digital sign companies to work alongside the team by both sponsoring and wrapping the rear doors of Saburʼs vans. Five local businesses including an

accountant, a solicitors, a nut and bolt specialist, a commercial vehicle sales company and a wardrobe manufacturer sponsored a van each. The media was printed at Sabur HQ using Drytac Polar Premium Media.
