P&P LIVE! 2018 preview Screen PrintWorkshop schedule


The Screen Print Workshop offers attendees a wide range of topics to enhance the running of their own print shop. The informative sessions will be of interest to both novices and experts alike.


The Screen Print Workshop can be found on stand A70 towards the top left of the hall. Each session will last 30 minutes including time to ask questions. Seats will fill up fast so be sure to arrive early to guarantee your place.


Waterbased vs plastisol


This session will cover the best type of ink for your needs and your print shop; the differences between the two, plus pros and cons. This session will also cover mesh counts and squeegee angles as well as other tips, tricks and tools for printing. Presented by Dave Roper, managing director, D. Roper.


The reclaiming process


This session will cover the three types of screen reclaiming; manual reclaiming, dip tank reclaiming and automated reclaiming. The products and equipment used, costs involved, plus the hazards will be touched upon. Presented by Tim Chaffman, regional sales manager, Easiway Systems.


What to look for in your first manual set up


This session will discuss the best manual for the job and which one will suit your requirements. What other equipment is essential to start screen printing in a manual set up. Making sure you are on the right track to print in the most effective and efficient way. Presented by Dave Roper, managing director, D. Roper.
