Madeira UK’s Karen Burrows celebrates 40 years of service


M


adeira UK celebrated Karen Burrows’ 40th anniversary with the


company last month.


Ms Burrows joined Madeira UK in 1985 and was managing director for 22 years. Her leadership steered the company through change and challenge, leaving a lasting impact that continues to defi ne the company today. In May 2023, Ms Burrows stepped down as MD and moved into the role of chairman.

Antigro Designer updates its print personalisation platform

he latest updates to Antigro Designers’ personalisation and customisation software for the print industry focus on the user experience.


Updates have been made to its Print Customizer tools, including enhancements to how users place and sort photos, more intuitive image editing, easier calendar personalisation, and an expansion of its mobile customisation capabilities, as well as the addition of realistic product mock-ups for Sticker Builder users.


These latest enhancements have been developed with user experience in mind, making it even easier for clients’ customers to create their designs and thus increasing sales conversion. In addition to the enhancements to Print Customizer, users of Antigro Designer’s Sticker Builder tool to simplify and enhance the production of custom die-cut stickers will now be able


to benefi t from the ability to display a customer’s completed product design in a realistic mockup, giving them a true-to-life view of the fi nal result. Marcin Majda, CEO and co-founder of Antigro Designer, said: “When it’s easier for end-users to create the project designs they have in mind and preview their fi nal product, that results in more successful sales conversions for our clients. Merchandise World debuts with a green focus


T


he very fi rst Sustainable Merchandise World took place on September 10 at the Area MK in Milton Keynes, marking a fresh and eco-conscious chapter for this established event.


A total of 188 visitor companies enjoyed a diverse showcase of sustainable product ranges from both new and loyal exhibitors, creating an energetic and innovative atmosphere.


Ella Long, show organiser, said: “We always receive great feedback on the quality of visitors attending the show, which leads to valuable conversations for our exhibitors. This year, we were especially pleased with the positive response to the new additions introduced to keep the show fresh and engaging – they’ve laid a strong foundation for future editions.” Next year’s event will take place on September 23, 2026.
