One+All releases its first Impact Report T
wo years after being certified as a B Corp business, One+All has
released its first Impact Report. The report is an honest summary of the schoolwear manufacturer’s social impact in the period between August 2020 and August 2022.
Neil Ward, managing director, said: “Becoming more sustainable is the best way to grow, which will help us to have a greater impact on those we work with, our communities and our planet.” Within the report One+All highlights its journey to becoming B Corp, its own colleagues’ satisfaction levels, its relationships with its supply chain and its impact on the planet and the local community in Stockport.

One important takeaway from the Impact Report is One+All’s apology for claiming some of its products were made from 100% recycled polyester. After partnering with SgT Group which conducted patented tracing tests to quantify the amount of recycled polyester used in its products, One+All discovered that not one of its products contained 100% recycled polyester. As a result, One+All has withdrawn this claim as it’s impossible to be certain how many plastic bottles are used in its recycled fabric. The report states: “We’re really sorry that we made these claims. It was never our intention to mislead our customers or anyone else. Making a sustainability claim that’s deliberately false is greenwashing, and we don’t want any part of it.”

This Impact Report will be printed so that One+All can share its story with those interested to learn more, however all future Impact Reports will be available online only.

Cottonridge moves into larger warehouse in Stafford
wner of the Cottonridge brand, TGI Corporation, has moved into a new larger warehouse in Stafford. The original warehouse was based in Stoke on Trent and was 30,000sq ft. The new warehouse is located on a secure security patrolled industrial park just 10 minutes from junction 14 of the M6 and is 50,000sq ft.
The company says that the larger premises has increased storage capacity up to 35,000 boxes of Cottonridge garments and the new wider aisles have increased efficiency by over 20%.

TGI’s current stockholding is £3.2million over 20 styles. Print shops often think that, because Cottonridge is not distributed
through the large supermarket style distributors that large stocks are not possible or there may be inconsistent stock levels when actually the opposite is the case. Because Cottonridge only offers 20 styles, this means TGI can stock in depth and because TGI distributes direct as the brand owner, customers benefit from not having to pay a premium to an intermediate distributor.
Once a print shop signs up on the Cottonridge website they can see the stock levels online and they are always pleasantly surprised.
