The Outdoors Company celebrates its 15th year!

n December, The Outdoors Company celebrated 15 years of supplying customers with promotional merchandise, gifts and corporatewear solutions from many of the world’s leading outdoor brands.
The Outdoors Company was created in 2007 after directors Paul Morley-Smith and Mark Dix saw a vision to supply high-end premium outdoor brands to the corporate B2B market while running a successful skiing company in Courchevel, France. After a year of planning and negotiations with most of the top outdoor retail brands, The North Face was the fi rst large company to back The Outdoors Company’s big idea. This really kick-started the business in the early years and provided the foundations to
the corporate sector for the likes of leading retail brands such as The North Face, Berghaus, Patagonia, Montane, RAB, and Columbia.

MyWorkwear announces merger with 925 Workwear
M
yWorkwear has announced its merger with Shropshire-based, 925 Workwear at an exciting
time for the business.
With over 300 customers and excellent reviews across Google and Facebook, 925 Workwear was established by Aaron Morrison-Ward in 2020, capitalising on his successful sales career in the personalised workwear sector. Following a rapid period of growth for MyWorkwear over the same time period, and the companies’ similar customer-focused ethos, a merger was seen as a great opportunity to bring the two businesses together and offer the best workwear solution for customers under the MyWorkwear brand. James Worthington, managing director of MyWorkwear, said: “We are excited to welcome Aaron and his customers to the MyWorkwear family. We are sure Aaron will be a valuable addition to our management team and we are all looking forward to supporting all the 925 Workwear customers with their workwear and uniform needs in 2023 and beyond.” With future investment plans in place, in addition to the merger, MyWorkwear

As well as supplying premium branded outdoor wear, The Outdoors Company also provides embroidery and print services, which many customers tend to opt for simply because of the risk involved in personalising high-end technical garments. The team has the expertise and experience to ensure these expensive garments are personalised to the highest standard. This year The Outdoors Company will operate a dedicated EU distribution hub in The Netherlands and will be able to offer promotional distributors an end-to-end service of garment supply with decoration and delivery direct to the end-user client.

has announced it is on target for hitting its £5m annual revenue target in 2023, a year earlier than expected, and is forecasting further growth which will result in additional local jobs. Aaron Morrison-Ward, managing director of 925 Workwear and new sales manager at MyWorkwear, added: “After a successful two years building 925 Workwear from scratch, I feel it is the right time to bring the business under the umbrella of the larger MyWorkwear brand. I look forward to working with James and the MyWorkwear team and know that this move will benefi t all the loyal 925 Workwear customers for the future.”
icole Spencer has been appointed to the FESPA Board, a decision that was unanimously endorsed by representatives of FESPA’s National Associations at the recent FESPA General Assembly in Madrid, Spain. As president of the FESPA UK Association since 2018, Ms Spencer has been instrumental in supporting wide format digital, textile, industrial and specialist
printers in the UK.
In 2020, she became managing director of RMC Digital Print, where she had been operations director since 2011. Located in Hull, the company produces wide format applications for the signage, events, display and set design industries.
