Kingly is the single GOTS-certified producer in the UK and one of only 52 GOTS-certified sock knitters worldwide. The company has recently announced that Control Union Certifications has finished the review of its Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certification requirements.
Kingly’s GOTS organic cotton socks have the highest rank in BCome’s Cradle to Grave Platform with an ‘Honours’ score. The socks have also been awarded the 2022 Promotional Gift Award. For a sock to be able to call itself organic cotton sock, it must not have used any chemical pesticides, genetically modified seeds, or artificial fertilizers. Its production is supposed to promote and enhance biodiversity and biological cycles.
Kingly’s socks are composed of 80% organic GOTS cotton, 17% eco-friendly regenerated polyamide, and 3% elastane. Spun with care and comfort, it is kind to your skin and so much gentler on the planet.
Minimum quantity order from 150 pairs per size and design. Free recycled socks tag and compostable bag are included for each pair. When this sock tag is placed on top of the soil and watered, it will germinate and begin sprouting seedlings.
GOTS organic cotton socks
Kingly’s upcycled cotton socks are among the most sustainable socks on the planet. These innovative merchandise products have been awarded with the Promotional Gift Award 2020. They are created with 85% upcycled cotton for comfort, 12% recycled polyamide for strength and 3% elastane for comfort. They are packed as a pair with a free recycled branded sock tag and individual self-seal bag. Upcycled cotton provides significant savings in resources. For instance, with a single order of 1,000 upcycled cotton socks you save 2652 kW/h of energy, 1088 kg of C02, 710,530 litres of water, and 120sq m of landfill.
