walked away as the Platinum winner. Built from recycled 2.5-layer Pertex Revolve fabric with a fluorocarbon-free DWR treatment, the jacket is Rab’s first ever mono-polymer waterproof jacket. It uses a polyester outer and membrane, which means that, in addition to being 100% recycled, it also has the future potential to be fully recycled at the end of its life. The Hiker Jacket was the recipient of the Gold award, while the Full Size Sublimation Bucket Hat was the Silver winner. lot more. All European-made with sustainable GOTS organic cotton, Euro Cotton and recycled polyester according to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS). 100% traceable with sustainability reports and transaction certificates. Rob Armour, CEO of Kingly, said: “Recognising that we are at an important crossroad, my team and I are dedicated to providing the best sustainable earth-friendly products.”

In an effort to minimise the negative effect of the garment industry, Kingly also intends to upcycle old clothes that will be repurposed and designed into limited edition collections. All of these clothes will be impregnated with the Polygiene technology which inhibits the growth of odour-causing bacteria in the garments.

Based on Kingly’s commitment to a better, cleaner environment, and in line with an ISO 14001 Environmental Policy, waste fibres created in the sock knitting process are retained. They find a new life as stuffing for printed pillow cases. They are highly appealing sustainable products produced in a factory that is SMETA Pillar 4 audited and accredited to ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standards.
