Cottonridge to install solar panels C

ottonridge has announced plans to install solar panels at its offices in Norton Canes and new 50,000sq ft warehouse in Stafford. The move is part of the company’s efforts to reduce its carbon footprint and increase its use of renewable energy. Richard Joyce, managing director of Cottonridge, said: “We are committed to do our part in the fight against climate change and transitioning to solar energy is a crucial step in that direction. Not only will it reduce our dependence on fossil fuels, but it will also help us save on energy costs in the long run. We hope that the solar panels will generate enough energy to power the entire operation of both locations, including lighting and heating.”

Cottonridge decided to install solar panels as not only is it good for the environment, but it also makes financial sense as the payback period on the investment is becoming increasingly short.

Recognition Express introduces new contemporary corporate identity

E

arlier in the year, Recognition Express introduced a new more contemporary and vibrant

corporate identity.

The new corporate identity retains the blue and orange colours of the original, but refreshed.

The iconic Recognition Express logo has served the business well over the years, but no longer reflects the dynamic business it has become and continues to be. Recognition Express was set up in 1979 to introduce the concept of corporate

name badges to Europe. The name meant ‘quick badges’.

While the business is still a market leader for identity products, Recognition Express has come a long way since then to become the branding consultant it is today.

A spokesman said: “The future of Recognition Express is looking as bright as our new identity and we look forward to working in partnership with or customers in 2023 to deliver innovative marketing solutions.”

The resources at our disposal and our new subsidiary’s extensive experience will allow us to grow further and continue optimizing our customer support.” Zund Ibérica serves numerous customers in Spain, Portugal and Andorra.

…And after it was filled with stock

Cottonridge has long been dedicated to corporate social responsibility and this is the latest example of its commitment to making a positive impact on the environment. Cottonridge plans to use the savings generated by the solar panels to reinvest in the business and create jobs.

Laltex Group celebrates 60th anniversary

T

he UK division of Laltex Group has celebrated its 60th anniversary.

Since the division’s formation in November 1962, Laltex Group has grown from one division to seven, and now distributes products around the world.

This growth has been attributed to the support of team members, loyal customers and valued suppliers, including the BPMA, Eppi, Sourcing City and Sourcing Machine, who have all collectively been a part of Laltex’s journey in the UK.

Mr Rajan Mulchand, chairman, is the longest serving team member and is supported by many others who have been part of the Laltex family for decades.

Neil Horner, managing director, said: “What an amazing journey it has been so far, from selling flip over calculators and light pens to what feels like pretty much everything else. We’ve developed and changed so much over the course of the last 60 years and we are looking forward to what the next 60 years have in store for us.”
