The panel will take place on the Player Protection Stage on Thursday 18 September from 11:00 to 11:40. EPIC facilitator and former Premier League footballer, Dominic Matteo, alongside his wife Jess, joins safer gambling expert, Martin Lycka for a live broadcast of the Safe Bet Show at the SBC Summit Lisbon.


Since retiring from his 17-year football career in 2009, Matteo has become a leading voice in the safer gambling space, drawing on his own experience of struggling with gambling addiction. He now works with EPIC alongside his wife, Jess Matteo, where they serve as lived experience facilitators to help raise awareness of gambling-related harm among professional athletes.
