the industry summit 2021. The song’s lyrics couldn’t have been more fitting: The most important sales event of adp Gauselmann took place on Friday, 3 September and Saturday, 4 September amid strict compliance with COVID rules whereby all of the 1,300 guests in attendance at the MERKUR SPIEL-ARENA had either been vaccinated against, recovered from
or tested for the virus. adp Gauselmann presented a top-class mix of products, politics and partying over an area measuring 8,300 square meters that covered the entire playing field. The highlight was the company’s latest multigamer: ZONIC. The numerous customers of the Gauselmann subsidiary were welcomed by Jürgen Stühmeyer, MERKUR Management Board member with responsibility for sales, who made a moving opening speech: “We feel that it is a great honour and a huge compliment that you are our guests in such extraordinary times.” The head of sales welcomed not only
German business partners but also visitors from the important distribution markets of the Netherlands and Spain. “I would also particularly like to welcome our guest of honour: the guarantor of success Paul Gauselmann”, he went on to explain. The company founder and Chairman of the Management Board of the Gauselmann Group did not want to miss the opportunity of attending the event in person. “Normally it’s sportspersons who are cheered in the MERKUR SPIEL-ARENA but this weekend it is our products that are being applauded.
