I

was recently reading about the court case between two pro poker players at Aria where one has refused to pay the other, claiming he was drunk and tired when they played. To complicate matters, the winner loaned the loser chips to stay in the game – and the winnings came to many millions. Now, call me naive, but surely these alpha males have the plums to actually stand up and walk away from a card table if they don’t want to play any more? And the basic intelligence to only take to the table what they can afford to lose? If I were adjudicating, I’d have some harsh words with the pair of them, then suggest an early night with a good book next time. In other news, we have officially launched the British

Casino Awards, to take place at the Hippodrome Casino on February 6th, 2018; check out www.britishcasinoawards.co.uk for more information.

Enough of my burble. Enjoy the issue. Jon Bruford, Managing Editor jonbruford@yahoo.co.uk +44 1584 877177 www.casinointernational-online.com @RunJontyRun @CasinoInt
