La CCJ del Senado aprueba los juegos de casino en Brasi
La Comisión de Constitución y Justicia (CCJ) aprobó el miércoles 19 de junio el proyecto de ley PL 2234/22 que autoriza la operación de juegos de azar en casinos en resorts integrados (IR), bingos, la lotería callejera Jogo do Bicho y apuestas en todo el país. La propuesta fue aprobada por 14 votos a favor y 12 en contra
La propuesta pasa ahora al Pleno del Senado para su análisis. El proponente, el senador Irajá Silvestre, defendió el proyecto de ley como una oportunidad de ingresos y empleo y una forma de legalizar actividades que están al margen de la ley, como el popular jogo do bicho. Sin embargo, el senador Carlos Portinho recordó que la ley de sigue tomándose su tiempo para reglamentar la legislación.
El proyecto de ley PL 2234/22 pasa al pleno del Senado Una vez en el Senado, dependerá del presidente Rodrigo Pacheco para que sea debatida, y hasta que se lleve a cabo la votación en el pleno del Senado, el proyecto de ley puede recibir enmiendas con sugerencias de cambios. El nuevo defensor proponente del proyecto de ley será designado por el presidente del Senado, pero la mayoría de las veces el parlamentario designado en la CCJ se mantiene en el pleno. En este caso, debería ser lo mismo con el senador Irajá Silvestre.
Si la propuesta es aprobada por los
senadores en el pleno, sin enmiendas, el PL 2234/22 será sancionado por el Presidente de la

BRAZIL Senate CCJ approves casino gambling in Brazil
The Constitution and Justice Commission (CCJ) approved on Wednesday June 19, bill PL 2234/22 that authorizes the operation of games of chance in casinos in integrated resorts (IR), bingos, street numbers lotto, Jogo do Bicho and betting throughout the country. The proposal was approved by 14 votes in favour and 12 against. The proposal now goes to the Plenary of the Senate for analysis. The speaker, Senator Irajá Silvestre, defended the bill as an opportunity for income and employment and a way to legalize activities that are outside the law, such as the popular jogo do bicho. However, Senator Carlos Portinho recalled that the sports betting law, has not yet yielded the legislation.
Bill PL 2234/22 goes to the Senate plenary Once in the Senate plenary, it will depend on President Rodrigo Pacheco when and how the bill will be debated, and until the vote in the Senate plenary takes place, the bill may receive amendments with suggestions for changes.
