Manufacturer Cavalier Bathrooms £500k investment leads to product innovation

Yorkshire-based bathroom company has invested £500,000 into its facilities to support business
development, team growth and product innovation. Cavalier Bathrooms, which includes brands such as Aquadart, Elation,
April Products and Niagara, has expanded to 200K sq feet separating its head office, manufacturing and showroom offering into three sites across Keighley and Skipton. The growth allows for improved facilities for the 162 employees and new machinery to continue efficient production of its bathroom products. Further to investment in facilities, the manufacturer has also launched a
new product under its Aquadart brand, the Rolla 8; a frameless sliding door range which combines the aesthetics of a wet room with the functionality of a shower enclosure. Rob Harrison, managing director at Cavalier Bathrooms, said: “The
investment came at a pivotal time for the company as we are embracing a period of growth. We’re looking forward to continuing to design, manufacture and launch innovative new products to market from our base in Yorkshire, in our journey to be a one-stop bathroom solution provider for our customers. “We are very proud about the launch of Rolla 8; it’s an incredibly clever
design with an 8mm sliding glass door, superior gliding motion and a soft stop buffer, creating the sophisticated look and feel of a wet room regardless of a bathroom’s configuration.” The Rolla 8 can be used as a sliding wet room complete with a water
guard, as a slider enclosure to create a striking frameless enclosure or as a slider recess in small or difficult spaces. Rob adds: “The slider recess with Rolla 8 is especially exciting as it

RAK Ceramics Charity Golf Day

n February 2019 we started to organise a Charity Golf Day on behalf of our client RAK Ceramics. With a list as long as
your arm there was much to be done….. With the venue chosen and date set for 25th July 2019 at The
Warwickshire Golf Club we set about designing and producing the invitation and our client provided the guest list. As a pro-active Company we called each invitee to ensure that they had received the invitation and whether they would be able to support RAK Ceramics in their quest to not only raise funds for their chosen charity, Rowans Hospice, but to put on a fantastic day of golf, camaraderie and fun. With the team sheet full
and all holes sponsored we were able to move onto designing and producing the programme for the day. We obtained auction prizes, had golf balls printed with the RAK Ceramics logo for the Beat the Pro competition, fabulous hampers were to be the prizes for the tile wall, an award winning putter and driver were bought for the £5 and £10 bucket competition, and a beautiful Claret Jug trophy for the winning team. This was the RAK Ceramics Inaugural Golf Day in memory of Alan
Abrams, a well known and much loved character in the bathroom industry who sadly passed away on his birthday in April 2019. His family not only donated a fabulous auction prize of a week in Portugal in a beautiful villa but also attended the dinner in the evening. The representative of Rowans Hospice, Gemma Carden, talked about
the work the Hospice does, which was timed to perfection, just before the auction began in the evening. We are so proud that we raised a fantastic sum of £17,246.34 on the day towards their Silver Jubilee Appeal.

ensure the day ran smoothly and everyone had a fabulous time! We are looking forward to helping RAK Ceramics grow this wonderful event next year – the date has already been set 23rd July 2020 – we cannot wait to get started!
