HiB names new Quality Assurance Manager
HiB has announced the appointment of quality assurance manager Neil Whitehead as part of its continued drive to uphold the highest standards of product quality.
Now active in his role at HiB,
Neil has over a decade of experience in quality assurance, having worked with the likes of Walgreens Boots Alliance, and having gained multiple technical qualifications during his career to date. Neil will be responsible for overseeing all elements of product quality, including compliance, supplier approval, and technical management, including the product technical support line. Commenting on his new role, Neil said: “HiB is a business which is well-
known for the quality of its products, and this is something which has been, and continues to be, key to its growth. I plan on taking a proactive approach to ensuring quality and compliance by creating a best in class team which supports every function of the business. “Quality is about more than just the product, it’s about putting the customer at the heart of everything we do – I look forward to working with the entire HiB community and its suppliers to break new ground for quality in the bathroom sector.” Steve Kaye, marketing director at HiB, added: “We are delighted to welcome Neil to the team, and are already benefitting from his extensive knowledge of quality management.
New senior appointment to drive forward Hoover’s SDA offering
Domestic appliance manufacturer, Hoover, has appointed David Matthews as new business director for its SDA product offering. A floorcare industry stalwart, David
has worked in senior managerial positions for both Gtech and Shark, having previously been VP for sales during the time that Shark launched its first vacuum range to the UK market. Speaking of his appointment, David
Matthews, business director SDA at Hoover Candy Group, said: “Hoover is a trusted and iconic brand across the world, with a fantastic heritage in the UK. As such, retailers and customers expect a lot from us, and so they should, which means that we need to deliver time and time again. “In the new role, it is my responsibility to drive forward the floorcare
