Ten new retail members for Kbsa


T


he Kbsa, the home specialist association has announced that ten KBB retailers have joined the association in August.


The new members include one Foundation member and a fourth showroom for an existing member.


The Foundation member, Fountain Kitchens & Bathrooms Ltd offers kitchens, bathrooms and tiles from its showroom in Derbyshire. The Otley showroom of the Passmore Group joins Leeds, Harrogate and Mirfield, as a member. All showrooms trade as more bathrooms, more ability, more kitchens and more bedrooms.


The other new showrooms include CKB Interiors based in Leyton, Greater London;


The Kitchen Consultancy Ltd based in Kingsbury, Greater London; Kitchens Bespoke in East Grinstead, West Sussex; Jackton Moor Kitchens in East Kilbride Glasgow; A1 Interiors in Grantham, Nottinghamshire; Kitchens of Sussex in Brighton, East Sussex; Avanni Kitchens Ltd in Gowerton, Swansea; and two showrooms in Reading and Beaconsfield for Et Lorem.


Retail and Corporate membership director Malcolm Scott said, “I am delighted to welcome these independent businesses into the Kbsa. “Ten new members is an amazing achievement, the most we have ever reached in just one month. Our membership has been growing consistently this year, helping us move forward and cement our position as THE association for the independent retailer.”


Poggenpohl announces promotion for Scott Rotchell to UK Sales Director


C


ontinuing to expand within the UK and Ireland, Poggenpohl UK has appointed a new Sales Director, Scott Rotchell, to sit directly below the Managing Director and oversee all sales roles within the company’s owned showrooms.


Scott began working with Poggenpohl in August 2011, directly from university, where he studied BA(Hons) Product Design at Nottingham Trent. His first role was of a Technical Designer in the Wigmore Street studio, although quickly became a Sales Designer for the same showroom. February 2016 saw Scott move onto the management team, looking after training, showroom refurbishments and operational projects. In January 2018, he was promoted to the role of Dealer Manager for the UK & Ireland, tasked with the growth and expansion of the independent retail network, a post which he has successfully held for just over six and a half years.


Now, Scott moves into the role of Sales Director, for Poggenpohl Group UK Ltd. A position that comes with responsibility for retail sales through Poggenpohl’s own studios, amongst other managerial and operational responsibilities.
