The Pronteau Scandi Collection by Abode F
or the first time, customers can experience filtered cold and steaming hot water from a tap, which is designed in the same style as their Scandi home décor thanks to Pronteau Scandi; the UK’s first collection of Scandinavian-style instant hot water taps with 4 IN 1 functionality. Presenting a striking monobloc silhouette with real FSC® Approved Beechwood lever handles (E: single lever & X: dual lever), Pronteau Scandi is available in three contemporary finishes including Matt White, Matt Black and Scandi Grey. Supplied with the company’s premium water optimisation filter, each tap offers a capacity of
1500L with bypass function, allowing users to set the filter to match the hardness of water. Pronteau Scandi is also designed with cool touch technology within the spout, 180° rotation, and aerated Hot & Cold flow with optional 5l/m flow limitation to minimise sink splash back and reduce water consumption. Plus, the cold start valve decreases a home’s energy waste, and the Laminar steaming hot water flow aerator delivers instant steaming hot water at a safe 2l/m for optimal cup filling.
Named ‘Best Kitchen Tap’ at the Livingetc Style Awards 2024, Pronteau Scandi-E is designed with patented HotKey® Sensor Technology; one of the
safest ways to access or deny access to instant steaming hot water. Without the HotKey®, the tap functions as an ordinary 3-way mixer. Winner of ‘Best Hot Water Tap’ at the Ideal Home Kitchen Awards 2024, Pronteau Scandi-X is designed with a 2-stage safety handle (below), where users push down and pull forwards to access steaming hot water easily and on demand.

äfele UK has stepped up its service provision for Smeg appliances with the launch of a dedicated brochure, alongside its ongoing training support for kitchen studios and designers. The brochure makes it easier than ever for kitchen studios and designers to promote Smeg appliances, as it profiles a core range of the products available directly from Häfele. Furthermore, Häfele is continuing to partner with Smeg to deliver ‘Inspire’ training at Smeg’s head office in Abingdon, as well as in store with studios, delivered by Häfele’s appliances experts.

“The dedicated Smeg brochure means studios and designers have a simple way of sharing the most popular Smeg products in the range available from Häfele, with beautiful imagery and key information that will make any reader fall in love with the products.
