ith only one quarter left, Category Manager, Joanne Cowley, is
pleased to say that 2024 has been positive for HiB. “We have seen great sales driven by new shapes and finishes, particularly with the success of our bronze finish. This year, we also focused on offering a complete solution through seamlessly coordinating accessories with our furniture which has also contributed to positive results.”
For the remainder of the year, the company’s focus will be on the autumn product launch, which will have a big focus on mirrors and mirrored cabinets and solutions for small spaces. “We are excited to be launching a new product, Bastille, which is a mesh-textured mirror available in various finishes. It also includes practical features that we’re excited to introduce to customers.”
It’s been no surprise to HiB that this year the shift in customer preferences towards bolder colour choices has not slowed down. Joanne
explains: “People are becoming more adventurous, opting for vibrant and daring tones in their bathrooms, especially in mirrors and accessories, which is exciting to see. Our Vaida mirror range has been particularly popular due to the variety of colours available like dusky pink and sage green, which really helps to bring in personality to any bathroom.
Mirrors and Mirror Cabinets
HiB has seen a demand for different designs, finishes and shapes when purchasing mirrors and mirrored cabinets. Customers are requesting stylish and modern products that enhance their spaces. Finishes such as black, brushed brass, gunmetal and bronze are particularly popular right now. However, it’s not just the different finishes, but a need for them to match existing brassware for a complete look. “This also applies to unique shapes like pill and arch mirrors, which we can see are growing in popularity due to their fresh, contemporary looks that align with current trends,” says Joanne.
As the company plans for 2025, its focus will be on seamlessly delivering complete bathroom solutions, positioning HiB as a one-stop-shop for customers looking to achieve their dream bathroom. “From mirrors and cabinets to accessories and finishes that work perfectly together, we want to make it easier for people to create a stylish, cohesive bathroom without the hassle of mixing and matching from different sources. Whether it’s bold colours, unique shapes, or matching brassware, HiB will have it covered.”

As for future products… “All we can say is look out for more bold colours and new, unique shapes,” says Joanne. “Building on our autumn launch, it’s clear that vibrant colour trends are here to stay. We’re excited to bring more options that make spaces truly stand-out and add that extra bit of personality for our customers.”
