s we move towards the end of 2021 most of us in the furniture
industry will agree it has been a hectic year. From starting off trading in 2021 under lock down conditions with showrooms unable to open, right through to the supply chain problems through the summer months and beyond, it certainly has been a unique year. At Trade Mouldings Distribution we have
continued to invest in the business since the Covid pandemic arrived over 18 months ago. We have had several product additions across all product groups including: • Indigo gloss lacquered 22mm Handleless Larissa and 18mm Vogue Slab ranges
• Indigo matt Lacquered 22mm Handle less in Larissa
• Indigo ash in Buckingham 22mm 5-piece range • Kombu green and Dusty Pink in the MTM vinyl ranges
• Kombu Green in the Odyssey laser edged range • Additional colours available in the Malham and Hatfield painted ash ranges
Many other fittings, handles, drawer boxes and
accessories have also been added to and with the addition of the successful ProCab carcases, Trade Mouldings Distribution really is a one stop shop for all your furniture needs. To showcase our latest range of products we will have an open day on the 19th and 20th of January 2022 in our new 76,000ft sq Rochdale distribution centre where all customers are welcome to come along and view the extensive showroom and products on display in a relaxed environment.
We have also had significant investment at our
Manufacturing headquarters in Cookstown, Northern Ireland, where we are currently upgrading our existing portfolio of Routers. In order to accommodate the new machinery, we have just completed another factory extension to accommodate the 5 new twin table SCM nesting routers. This is the latest Routing technology available and includes its own board storage facilities, stock management systems and self- feeding robotics to enable the group to maintain stock and service levels in our distribution centres in Rochdale, Dublin and Cookstown sites. Across all sites we have been particularly busy
and with many customers currently time poor with full order books they have taken advantage of our full product offer including Cabinets, doors and all the accessories, drawers, handles and components needed to complete an installation. With full showroom facilities in all depots, customers can call in and see the product ranges on offer in full kitchen settings. We also have full access to online ordering 24/7
so customers can prepare quotations, place and pay for orders at a time that suits them.
