Reginox UK celebrates 20 years of business success

S

inks, taps and accessories manufacturer, Reginox UK, is celebrating its 20th anniversary this month. Reginox, which has its headquarters in Holland, established the UK

operation in 1999. Over its 20-year history Reginox UK has grown steadily and now offers a range that includes more than 150 sinks and 60 taps. With full UK and Irish representation and a customer base that covers the retail, merchant, kitchen manufacturer, distribution and house builder sectors, Reginox UK is now a major player within the UK sinks market and is set to achieve a turnover of £7 million this financial year. Dave Mayer, Sales and Marketing Director of Reginox UK, comments,

New BMA CEO Tom Reynolds sets out bold compliance campaign

I

ncoming BMA CEO Tom Reynolds laid out bold plans to tackle non-compliance in the bathroom industry at the BMA

Bathroom and Kitchen Conference held on 08 October. Tom promised that the BMA was determined to ramp up the noise on

the compliance issue, educating consumers and stakeholders as well as lobbying government in order to break through the myths and lack of understanding about the level of non-compliance. “We will make our voices heard so that we can create a level playing

field and eradicate those that continue to flout the law and put end users at risk,” said Tom. Tom’s comments followed the Compliance Seminar on 07 October. This seminar included a preview of a new online tool developed in partnership with Keele University, designed to demystify what it means to be compliant. In addition, the BMA confirmed that it will soon be finalising its Primary Authority status with Nottinghamshire County Council. Nick Kingett from Nottingham Trading Standards gave a presentation outlining the partnership and the benefit it would bring to the BMA’s compliance campaign. “The initiatives we have announced today will play an important role in

helping us drive forward the compliance agenda,” added Tom. “We know we have the support of our members and that together we will make a difference to bring about much needed change.”

“We are immensely proud of the Reginox UK success story. Our founding office in the UK was tiny, manned by minimal staff and offered a range of just 30 stainless steel sinks and five taps. We grew rapidly and, by 2004, we had relocated to 17,000 square foot premises in Congleton, South Cheshire, and expanded our collection to 100 sinks, including steel, granite composite and ceramic designs. With a change of management structure, business growth began to accelerate rapidly and, with the introduction of additional taps and waste disposal units to our range, we were well on the way to becoming a genuine one-stop solution.” Stainless steel sinks, all of which are manufactured in Holland, account

for nearly 70% of Reginox UK’s sales. The company was a pioneer of the deep drawing presses and techniques which have since become sink industry standards and the launch of its best-selling Texas range in 2009, which went on to win a prestigious Red Dot Award, marked the birth of the world’s first fully pressed 10mm radius sink. In 2015 Reginox again led the market through the launch of its revolutionary and still unique RegiColor Collection of coloured stainless steel sinks, introduced following many years of research and development and representing a first for the sinks industry. Whilst steel remains at the core of the Reginox offer, the company has

vastly expanded its product portfolio over the years. Through carefully selected partnerships, it now offers one of the most comprehensive ranges of composite granite sinks available, as well as an impressive selection of ceramics, and an extensive collection of taps, work surfaces and accessories. Dave Mayer continues, “During the past 20 years the business has

achieved consistent and steady growth due to strong commercial management, our parent company’s commitment to ongoing investment in advanced manufacturing techniques and a willingness to be flexible in meeting customers’ needs. Reginox has always achieved the right balance between practicality and design, and we constantly listen to our customers’ requirements. I believe that all these factors have ensured our continued success and have made Reginox UK the company it is today. We are delighted to be celebrating this important milestone in Reginox’s history and would like to thank all of our customers and suppliers for their ongoing support.”

The company is celebrating its anniversary through the introduction of a
