Lawcris – Be inspired by the art of wood

Discover a new generation of high

performance, deep textured and more authentic

surfaces which are exclusive to Lawcris. 12 stunning decors across 3 elegant ranges; Tango, Blues and Rock & Roll, which create an

incredible collection of tones, breathing life into classic styles. These popular melamine boards not only combine design and technology to create the most realistic and textured finishes, but they are also an antibacterial certified range! The

growing demand for products that prevent the development of harmful germs to health has led manufacturing giants Finsa to research materials that can meet these requirements.

As a result of this work, Finsa has developed the Antibacterial Studio Series. This protection is suitable for applications where hygiene is a must, kitchens, bathrooms, commercial and community facilities, children’s furniture and much more. The Finsa Studio Collection is in stock and can be found on the Lawcris website www.lawcris.co.uk.

Franke scoops four prestigious design awards

Sink, tap and appliance manufacturer, Franke, has scooped four prestigious design awards. It has won three Red Dot Design Awards for its Maris Pull- Out Slim hood, Style sink and Pescara tap range in the latest round of winners. In addition, the Pescara tap range has been given an iF Gold Award for 2017.

To win a coveted Red Dot or iF award, products must display a combination of outstanding design, functionality, quality and innovation. The cutting-edge design of the Pescara range provides a contemporary, co-ordinated tap offering that is rich in features and functionality.

The space-saving, minimalist design of Franke’s elegant Maris Pull Out Slim hoods allow for installation under a kitchen cabinet.

The Style granite sink features gentle curves and raised edges to produce an almost ‘floating’ effect on the worksurface and its new Alabaster White colour is translucent in appearance, further elevating the aesthetics.

Says Fiona Bowyer, marketing Director at Franke: “The values of innovation, quality and stylish design

“My kitchen is where all my fresh home- grown vegetables and herbs come together to make deliciously healthy dishes”

are at the core of our ‘Make it Wonderful ethos. We aim to ignite people’s imagination with our products, bringing added value and enjoyment and making everyday lives a little less ordinary. ‘Make It Wonderful’ is reflected across everything we do at Franke so we are delighted to have new products recognised on an international stage through these esteemed design awards.”

I’ve been involved in horticulture for over 60 years, both growing and judging plants and vegetables. Growing and encouraging people to grow has been my passion in life. At the end of the cultivation process what more could you want for than naturally grown, freshly picked herbs and vegetables prepared and cooked in your own kitchen? My kitchen is so important to me; it’s the final stage where all that horticultural effort cumulates in satisfyingly, delicious, healthy food.
