Triflow Concepts
Lauren Cullingworth, Product and Marketing Manager at Triflow Concepts, spoke with BKU’s Matt Broughton about the company’s first half of 2025, and the health benefits when it comes to using water filters.
025 has been an exciting and rewarding year for Triflow Concepts. The company is seeing growing demand for premium, sustainable water solutions, and it’s clear that consumer awareness around health and environmental impact is stronger than ever.

“A major highlight has been winning the World Catering Technology Award, which recognises excellence in design, functionality, and sustainability,” says Product and Marketing Manager, Lauren Cullingworth. “It’s a proud moment for our team and a testament to the innovation behind our triple-filtered and O3 antibacterial tap systems.
“We’ve also deepened our collaboration with filtration experts Katadyn, expanded our presence in premium kitchen showrooms, and launched new initiatives around wellness and microplastic awareness. As we approach the second half of the year, we’re energised by the momentum and looking forward to what’s next.” Triflow’s overarching goal for 2025 is to redefine everyday hydration by making filtered, antibacterial water more accessible and aspirational in both residential and commercial settings. The company is focused on elevating the role of water in wellness, design, and sustainability conversations.
Lauren explains: “This means continuing to innovate with products like our Triflow O3 system, expanding our reach through strategic showroom and retail partnerships, and deepening
our collaboration with Katadyn to bring world-class filtration technology into more homes. Ultimately, we want to empower people to make healthier, more environmentally conscious choices – one glass of water at a time.” Right now, the company is focused on educating consumers and specifiers on the health and environmental benefits of filtered and antibacterial water. “As conversations around wellness, water quality, and sustainability continue to grow, we’re ensuring Triflow is at the forefront of that dialogue,” says Lauren. “We’re actively investing in content, partnerships, and showroom experiences that demonstrate the value of our triple-function and O3 tap systems – not just as a convenience, but as a long-term commitment to health and responsible living. The goal is to shift perception: filtered water isn’t a luxury add-on; it’s becoming a daily essential.”

We enable customers to enjoy safe, great-tasting water in a way that’s better for both people and the planet
Triflow’s filtration systems remove impurities such as chlorine, heavy metals, pesticides, and microplastics, which can be present in tap water. Some models, like the Triflow O3 system, even
go further by infusing water with ozone (O3) – a powerful natural disinfectant with antibacterial properties. “Drinking filtered water supports
better gut health, helps reduce toxic load on the body, and ensures the water you consume is both safe and great tasting. It’s especially beneficial for individuals with sensitive immune systems, and those focused on long-term wellness.”
Microplastics are a growing concern in global
water supplies, and research increasingly links them to potential health risks. These microscopic plastic particles can enter drinking water through industrial waste, degraded plastic bottles, and even household plumbing. “At Triflow Concepts, we use advanced filtration technology that’s capable of significantly reducing microplastic content in water. Our mission is to give consumers confidence in the quality of what they’re drinking – and that includes staying ahead of emerging contaminants like microplastics.” Sustainability is a key pillar of Triflow Concepts’ approach. By offering filtered, mains-fed water solutions, the company is actively helping reduce reliance on single-use plastic bottles – a major contributor to global pollution. “Our filtration systems are supplied by Katadyn, a global leader in water purification with a strong commitment to environmental responsibility,” says Lauren. “Katadyn is known for supporting clean water initiatives, promoting reusable systems, and developing long-lasting filters that reduce waste over time. Together, we enable customers to enjoy safe, great-tasting water in a way that’s better for both people and the planet.”
