T
he Kbsa has welcomed two new members into the association, both seeking the added reassurance that the
Kbsa’s deposit protection scheme can bring to customers. Independent retailers Ridgeway Interiors based in Oxfordshire and The Wood Works based in Mill Hill, London joined the association in the last few weeks, as kitchen retailers begin to re-open for business. Both showrooms offer bespoke luxury kitchens and offer customers a full design and installation service. Joshua Delane, director at The Wood Works said, “As customers return to kitchen showrooms, they may be more cautious about a company’s stability following the uncertainties of the Covid-19 epidemic. “We want to re-assure them that our business is as robust as it has
always been. The Kbsa accreditation and the option of the deposit protection insurance illustrates our credentials, and provides an extra level of trust and protection when dealing with our showroom.” Tony Morel from Ridgeway Interiors said, “Kbsa membership has
many benefits for us. The advice and information that will help us keep up to date with legislation, access to the finance options, as well as the third party accreditation and deposit protection scheme that helps consumers buy with confidence.” Kbsa National Account Manager Allister Reed adds, “We are
delighted to welcome two new members. Our deposit protection is proving to be a valuable tool for members, helping to provide peace of mind to those worried about a retail business’s stability in the aftermath of Covid-19. “Indications are that the number of projects being registered with the
deposit protection scheme is rising as our members get back to business.”
