Addressing growing consumer demand for improved indoor air quality, Franke’s Mythos Air Hub range goes beyond conventional cooker hoods by incorporating an
advanced air sanitisation system.
This innovative technology, which is completely unique in the hood’s market, not only effectively eliminates cooking odours and vapours but also removes up to 99.99% of bacteria and viruses. The Air Hub achieves this through a dedicated air stream, facilitated by two UV-C lamps, ensuring safe and ozone-free air purification. Rigorously tested by the esteemed University of Siena laboratories, it offers three operational modes, including a night option for prolonged, quiet air purification.

The Phantom Frame is a 1300m hood that features a glass box-in-box design with lighting above and at the base, and with atmospheric illumination behind the glass. Featuring perimeter extraction, both recirculation models have a maximum noise level of 59db.
Because warm air does not have to be forced out through an external vent using ducting, a recirculation island hood allows designers more flexibility when considering a kitchen layout.
Novy Phantom Frame Recirculation Island Hood.
Both models powerfully and efficiently remove cooking vapours using Novy’s advanced Pure 3.0 recirculation technology. They include Monoblock carbon filters that neutralise odours by 95% to 100% so that only pure warm air is recirculated back into the room. Cost-effective, the filters need to be changed after 900 hours of cooking, or every three to five years.
