With more than 40 years’ experience in the kitchen industry, Max has been named Salesman of the Year on several occasions and has forged strong connections with a wide network of businesses across the sector.
Max comments: “In this new role, I aim to
continue supporting my longstanding relationships by upholding the honesty and integrity my clients have trusted throughout my career. “After 15 years with the same organisation, I’m most excited about embracing a fresh challenge, working with the team at LDD UK to drive sales, expand my knowledge of innovative products, and contribute to developments that will shape the industry. LDD UK offers a national delivery service alongside next day delivery, opening up greater opportunities for clients that I’m eager to make the most of.”
Joining Max is Chris Cuthill, who moves to LDD UK from Pronorm, where he supported KBB retailers across Scotland and the North, helping studios to grow, refine their offering, and confidently sell premium kitchens.
In his role with LDD UK he will cover Scotland, North East England and the wider north, whilst also working with surface brand Königstone. Chris explains: “Building long-term partnerships is what I'm most proud of. In my new role with LDD UK I’ll lead regional development for retail showrooms, managing accounts, supporting retailers and driving brand growth across my territory.”
He adds: “This business has incredible potential and a compelling story. I’m eager to help grow the brand and collaborate closely with retailers to make a genuine impact in the market. They can count on quick communication, transparent support, and a committed partner who’s genuinely invested in their success, plus next day delivery from a national delivery service.” LDD UK was founded to serve kitchen specialists, builders, developers and merchants in the year 2000. Since then, the longstanding family business has grown to become one of the UK's largest independent kitchen and appliance distributors, maintaining a stockholding of more than £5M and serving the entire United Kingdom from its 500,000 sq. ft premises in Newhouse, Lanarkshire.
Last year it celebrated 25 years in business, marking a significant achievement at a time when kitchen distribution is experiencing challenging headwinds. The company prides itself on reliability, relationships and extensive industry knowledge, supported by its family ethos and commitment to customer service.
