Rearo appoints new marketing manager to drive commercial growth


R


earo, a leading manufacturer of high-pressure laminate wall panels and commercial washrooms, has appointed James Barrett-Bunnage as its new marketing manager. James will be instrumental in implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy designed to


significantly expand Rearo's commercial business.


Around 80% of Rearo's revenue currently stems from retail sales, with the remaining 20% derived from the commercial sector. The company aims


to shift this balance, doubling its commercial sales revenues by June next year, while simultaneously achieving overall sales growth.


Experience of commercial and retail sectors


James brings a wealth of experience to Glasgow-based Rearo, spanning both commercial and retail sectors. His extensive background encompasses innovative marketing, digital marketing, and brand positioning, with a track record of launching new products, expanding market reach, and driving revenue growth.


His career includes leadership roles at prominent companies such as Schuh, Tradeprint, and Finning. There he oversaw projects, ranging from national retail rollouts, and e-commerce platform development, to the implementation of cutting-edge marketing technology for major construction projects, including HS2. He has also consulted for various startups, contributing expertise across the full marketing mix. His appointment will see him focusing on a multi-faceted approach to marketing, differentiating Rearo's communication strategies between domestic and commercial markets.

he Kbsa, the home specialist association has announced further growth with another six retailers and one corporate member joining recently, which brings the total of new retailer showrooms since the start of the year to forty-six. Retail and Corporate membership director Malcolm Scott said, “I am delighted to welcome these new retailers into the association.
