CLOAKROOMS & ENSUITES Amanda Mills

Kinedo Modulo and Modulo XL for hassle-free ensuite bathrooms

Amanda Mills, Marketing Manager of Kinedo, tells BKU how Modulo is helping customers realise their bathroom dreams.

W

hether it’s in the home or in accommodation away from home, people generally expect bathing facilities in their master bedrooms or hotel rooms today. An en-suite is no longer a luxury but a normality. However, in older properties that were designed without en-suites in mind, there is very often limited space. Thanks to its compact size, the new Modulo from Kinedo provides a swift and efficient solution. For showrooms, particularly those with customers in architecture, interior design and hospitality, guest houses or student accommodation, this presents a great opportunity to offer a stunningly attractive all-in-one en-suite which is not only easy to install, but has a sufficiently compact footprint to suit most room sizes and provides a surprisingly spacious bathroom facility. Two core products have been launched by the team at Kinedo, with an abundance of options to create the ideal en-suite for any room. The standard Modulo is an en-suite solution which includes a shower with mechanical valve, basin with mixer tap and walk-in shower area. It comes with towel rail and has the option of a Saniflo grey

water pump. The Luxe version features a shower area with a sliding door, wall hung basin with attractive vanity unit, as well as a towel rail with an optional Saniflo grey water pump if required. The Modulo XL is a larger unit to suit bigger rooms and features a walk-in shower area, washbasin with mixer tap and wall-hung WC. A Luxe version is also available and both can be specified with a Saniflo macerating pump if required. The beauty of Modulo is that it can be installed without the hassle of tiles, grout or partitioning walls, thanks to the attractive glass panels that fit together to form a complete structure that suits both corner and recess installations. Frosted glass and solid blocks of colour on the glass are designed for privacy, whilst all glass is anti- limescale coated for ease of cleaning and maintenance. Black and white frames can be mixed and matched with the glass panel options to suit the customers preference.

As long as small-bore pipework and electricity is available, an en-suite can be up and running in just a couple of days. And, in spaces where conventional plumbing isn’t feasible, such as basements, lofts and existing bedrooms, Modulo XL can be purchased with a Saniflo Sanipack Pro macerator pump to facilitate drainage and Modulo with a Saniflo grey water pump.
