024 has been an incredibly strong year for MyLife, with sales growing at a rate faster than the market. Commenting on the year, Sales Director Gavin McCrossan says, “We’re in a good place to attack the market in 2025. We’ve launched a new range of shower enclosures in our four core colours, which is going to be massive for us. We’ve launched a complete, new range of accessories and a complete, new range of heated towel rails, as well as furniture and mirrors. They are all premium products.”
MyLife was also recently named ‘Supplier of the Year’ at the NI Plumbing and Heating awards. This is an incredible achievement and a recognition of the company’s significant impact on the bathroom industry through exceptional products and outstanding service. In a highly competitive category, the awards were judged by an independent panel of industry experts, and according to the judges, MyLife were “nothing short of remarkable” with a “very strong entry”. Gavin says, “This is an incredible achievement for us, made possible due to the hard work and dedication of the team past, and present, who have made MyLife what it is today. Now on to the next one!”
Altea slate shower trays
The shower tray may not be the first thing that comes to mind when designing a bathroom, but it’s an element that can dramatically impact a showering experience. Gavin explains: “We have revitalised our offering to bring the Altea slate shower trays to customers, which combine cutting-edge material technology with sophisticated design. Available in black, white
and anthracite and now in a new luxurious sand colour for 2025.”
The sand hue is a versatile neutral tone that complements a wide range of bathroom palettes, adding warmth and elegance to the space. But the Altea trays are much more than just good looks - they’re packed with innovative features that make them a standout choice for homeowners seeking the perfect foundation for their shower (namely antibacterial properties, slip resistance, high-temperature resistance, zero water absorption, easy-clean hair filter and high-flow double siphon drain).
“The Altea trays represent a perfect union of form and function, proving that every detail matters when it comes to creating a superior showering experience.”
Wetroom designs have been growing in popularity for their sleek aesthetics and versatility. MyLife Bathrooms has taken this trend to the next level with the launch of their Emmi fluted wetroom panels, available in four exquisite finishes: black, brushed brass, gun metal, and chrome.
“These panels not only add a modern, architectural feel to your bathroom but also enhance the sense of space and light,” says Gavin. “The vertical fluted design creates a subtle texture that catches the eye while maintaining a minimalist look, making them an ideal choice for contemporary and transitional bathrooms alike. “Each finish is carefully curated to complement a range of interior styles. The black finish is bold and dramatic, perfect for those who love a modern monochrome look. For a touch of warmth and opulence, brushed brass delivers an understated glow. The gun metal finish provides a chic, industrial vibe, while the timeless chrome is ideal for a classic, polished aesthetic.”
2025
Despite the retail sector being a somewhat ‘challenging’ environment, McCrossan is “Absolutely delighted” with the sales growth of MyLife Bathrooms so far: “Maybe we’re lucky that we’re a growing company, but you can’t take anything for granted and need to continue to do the fundamentals correctly. If you continue to conduct yourself in the marketplace in the right way and continue to keep your service levels and stock levels as high as we do, an average 97%, it all falls into place.”
Feeling confident about business in 2025, Gavin concludes: “We’re confident. There’s no doubt about it. We’ve put in a lot of hard yards to get ourselves ready to hit the ground running at the beginning of the New Year.”
