Prepare your 2023 business mindset
We’re heading into more uncertain times with a stormy year ahead of us - which will no doubt impact everyone in some way. But as business coach Tony Robbins famously says, ‘the best business in a down economy is always one that is run with purpose, vision and great leadership.’ There are core values and ways of working that many businesses developed and maintained throughout Covid, which will put them in very good stead to weather this potential storm. At a time where every penny counts, ensure your recommendations are worth every one. Working with brands whose products provide peace of mind that they will last, will make the influx of more considered purchases an easier sell. Seek out referrals, supercharge customer service, spend time nurturing your key relationships and maintain
marketing and PR to ensure your business prospers on the upturn.

Experiment with new ways to showcase your full brassware offering
Retailers already understand the benefits of striking lifestyle imagery and effective roomset design, both of which inspire the end consumer and bring to life what is possible in their own homes. While this approach has become second nature, it’s also worth considering more unique campaign imagery and display presentations to really make a statement to your customers. Rather than creating traditional bathroom settings, experiment with composition and create conceptual layouts. Consider curating a brassware gallery wall, almost like an art installation. You could put mixers and taps from all collections on display in one space. The finished look is unexpected and eye-catching. Doing something out of the ordinary may seem like a bold move, but it’s worth taking a chance to see what resonates best with your customers.

Predicted shower enclosure trends for 2023
Bathrooms, and the way they are built and designed, have received a lot of attention in recent years. Shower enclosures in particular have evolved from being purely functional to becoming a desirable bathroom feature. The “spa” concept is no longer only a once-in-a-while luxury for customers, but something that helps them enhance their own routine at home on a regular basis.
Consumers now desire choices, whether it’s in terms of colours, styles, or shapes; everyone has a different vision for their shower.
Shower enclosures have become the bathroom focal point, with the market shifting away from the traditional chrome style and toward coloured finishes, matte black and trendy tones. We predict to see coloured finishes and matte black continuing into 2023, with a continued focus on wellness and luxury within the home.
