Today we supply many retailers across the UK with premium Italian appliances from Faber and ILVE, as well as PlasmaMade filters from the Netherlands. We consider ourselves as an extension to our retailers business; the only port of call needed for need technical advice, fitting information or marketing collateral. 2020 had been such a challenging year for the whole industry. Covid 19 has put retailers under huge pressures, never before encountered and, in our small way, we have tried to go above and beyond in order to support our loyal customers. Communication and making the jobs of our retailers as easy as possible, has been key during these strange times. Our websites and social media channels are updated daily, administration is managed efficiently and effectively from home and our phone lines ‘operating as normal’. During the quieter period during lockdown, we
had more time to think and plan strategies for supporting UK sales and are doing more than ever before to generate consumer interest for our customers; promotions, social media campaigns, updated websites and brochures with product launches and features. We have been fortunate in that our suppliers have been able to return to normal production
How has KitchenEX mastered the 'new normal’? K
itchenEX was launched in 2012, starting as a small family business, our
quickly, many retailers are struggling to complete kitchens as the knock on effect of factory lockdowns is felt across the industry. We felt it important to invest in a significant amount of additional stock just before lockdown and have been able to help retailers who have needed appliances quickly. Above all, we feel that it’s so uplifting to see the
industry returning to a new kind of normal but even more importantly it’s about being safe. Our sales team will no longer be visiting “in the flesh”, sales presentations and training sessions are now held through video conferencing, giving our team more time to talk to retailers, at the same time keeping you and us as safe as possible. Currently we are busy making training videos,
new point of sale material, new graphics and are working on a host of exciting new ideas. Within all the craziness this year, we have been given the gift of time. Time to plan, think and work out ways of doing better; perhaps we will all come out of this stronger.
