Häfele showcases latest trends, products and research at kbb 2022

G

lobal manufacturer and distributor, Häfele, enjoyed its most innovative

and immersive kbb show yet with the company’s largest ever stand for guests to explore the latest products, services and research set to influence the industry. Split across four distinct zones, Häfele’s stand

(S70) showcased how its vast range of products can be used in combination to help the kbb market optimise functional living spaces – those which maximise the usability, flexibility and value of a space, while balancing it with personal style and design trends, to improve the day-to-day lives of users. Underpinning what was displayed on stand were

the findings of Häfele’s Kitchens for Living: Functional Spaces research that surveyed over 2,000 homeowners to determine how kitchen design impacts people’s wellbeing and quality of life. The campaign, which will run throughout the year, is being conducted in partnership with architect and designer Laura Jane Clark, one of the stars of the BBC’s ‘Your Home Made Perfect’. As part of Häfele’s research, 32 per cent of respondents said that when it comes to storage,

they simply don’t have enough, 17 per cent said their storage is located too high for them to reach, and a further 17 per cent said they find it difficult to reach things in corner cupboards. To demonstrate how the market can help

customers overcome this challenge, Häfele showcased its latest wirework and storage innovations to make the best use of space in a kitchen. For example, the Matrix Box range from Häfele presents more usable space within the drawer due to its slim design, while the award- winning Free space flap fitting is designed to create more storage room within cabinetry by eliminating the need for large cover caps. Additionally, Häfele integrated the Hawa

Concepta folding sliding door gear system to a compact kitchen to demonstrate how the products can be used to close off smaller spaces when not in use. Attendees could also explore the new Smeg

major domestic appliances, which will be exclusively distributed to the kbb trade by Häfele. A visitor favourite was an interactive play space,

cabinet doors and handles where visitors could configure elements into a variety of different styles and trends to suit any kitchen design. Choosing from four styles of UK-manufactured

Aspekt door each in seven different colourways, attendees could then select their preferred worktop, as well as handle design including the new Graf knob in textured matt black and COMO in brushed copper and gold, before exploring the impact of lighting temperature on its overall look and feel. More details of newest Häfele products from

kbb and its Kitchens for Living: Functional Spaces research is available on its website.
