Updated bathroom ventilation unit now in additional fi nish option

The Monsoon Energysaver IntelliSense i7 from National Ventilation is now available in a black fi nish alongside its existing white option. The 7 in 1 IntelliSense i7 is a multi- function fan designed for domestic ventilation, off ering either intermittent or continuous operating modes. It runs at a noise level of 17dB(A) at low speed. The unit includes an integrated

humidity sensor, presence sensor and overrun timer, along with an airing function that activates periodically if a room has not been used. Airfl ow performance is rated at up to 110 cubic metres per hour. It is intended for use in bathrooms, toilets and utility areas. The fan supports multiple

ventilation settings, including a heat mover mode which transfers surplus heat to an adjacent room. It has an IP44 rating, making it suitable for installation in wet areas, and can be mounted on either walls or ceilings. It is

powered by a low-voltage motor and includes a self-adjusting system that alters speed to maintain airfl ow if resistance changes in ducting. The humidity sensor responds

to increased moisture levels, such as during shower use, and reduces operation once levels fall. A presence sensor or light switch can also activate the fan. Installation involves mounting

a wall frame and connecting the electrical supply, with settings adjusted via controls under the cover. The Monsoon Energysaver IntelliSense i7 is supplied with a fi ve-year warranty. “The Monsoon Energysaver

IntelliSense i7 in black is an exciting new addition to the range, off ering customers looking for a more contemporary look even greater choice alongside the fan’s versatile 7 in 1 options,” comments Robin Francis, managing director at National Ventilation. ◼ phamnews.co.uk/526/66

Designed for high-performing, future-ready ventilation systems

The mechanical ventilation heat recovery solutions from Wavin have been enhanced with the launch of the Ventiza FlexPro-90, a higher-capacity semi-rigid radial duct developed to meet the increased airfl ow demands of modern, energy-effi cient homes. The new 90mm duct builds on the Ventiza

FlexPro-75 system introduced last year, delivering up to 45% more airfl ow than standard 75mm options at the same velocity levels, enabling installers to achieve required ventilation rates using fewer ducts. The increased airfl ow capacity lowers the back

pressure and enables MVHR units to operate at lower speeds, helping to reduce energy consumption and lower system noise for homeowners. Supplied in continuous 50m coils, the new semi-rigid radial duct reduces the number of joints required, supporting simpler installation and minimising air leakage risk.

The duct’s double-wall construction includes an

insulating air void to support improved acoustic and thermal performance, contributing to quieter operation within the home. The material also incorporates antibacterial, antifungal, and antistatic properties to help maintain air quality standards and reduce dust build-up inside the system over time. The duct has been designed to remain compatible

with existing connectors on the market. ◼ phamnews.co.uk/526/67

Press fi ttings now more widely available

R-Press fi ttings manufactured by Instantor are now available through merchant BES Limited, expanding access to the product range for installers across the UK. BES Limited, which has

operated for more than 50 years, supplies equipment to the plumbing, heating and gas sectors. Its catalogue includes around 15,000 items, distributed from a 77,000 square foot warehouse in Birmingham. The newly available R-Press fi ttings are

designed for use in high-pressure systems of up

to 48 bar. They are intended for applications including refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump systems on the refrigeration side, as well as variable refrigerant fl ow and volume systems. Press fi ttings are used to

connect pipework without the need for fl ame-based methods. Manufacturers say this approach can reduce

installation time and improve safety conditions for engineers compared with traditional techniques. ◼ phamnews.co.uk/526/68

Undermount sink has low profi le partition

The British Classics ceramic sink collection by Clearwater now includes a large-format undermount sink designed for kitchens where performance and capacity are essential. Chanterly is a solid ceramic double-bowl sink created for

customers who cook regularly and require space to handle professional-grade pans, baking trays and cookware. The expansive main bowl off ers generous depth and capacity, while the substantial second bowl supports everyday food preparation and washing tasks. A key feature is a low-profi le internal partition. The bowls can

operate independently for improved water effi ciency, or be fi lled together to create one large soaking area when required. ◼ phamnews.co.uk/526/69

Strategic partnership extends shower reach

Extending the availability of its shower solutions in the UK, Flair Showers is partnering with Plumbing Heating Group (PHG), the UK’s leading merchant buying group for plumbing, heating and bathrooms. PHG members will now be able to supply shower enclosures, bathscreens and wetrooms from the installer- friendly Flair PRO Collections and premium Harmony Collections. The Flair PRO Collections have been designed

specifi cally with installers in mind. Consisting of shower enclosures, wetrooms and bathscreens, Flair PRO off ers an easy-fi t showering solution for every customer. Including the popular Verve PRO and Verve PRO 8 collections that boast Flair’s Click Fit PRO screw-free assembly system, PHG members can now supply shower enclosures that can be fi tted by just one installer. Once the profi les are aligned, the installer simply slides and snaps the frame into place. It’s quicker, safer and cuts down on installation costs without compromising on strength or style. ◼ phamnews.co.uk/526/70

Minimalist range adds high performance showers

Shower and tapware manufacturer Methven has extended its recently launched Minimalist range, introducing three showers said to combine innovative technology and luxury experience with creating water-effi cient products. The Minimalist handset,

inspired by luxury hotel aesthetics, was launched last year to off er a smooth slider control which allows users to fi ne tune their showering experience through precise spray control, creating a shower experience that suits their mood or personal preference. The collection has now

been expanded to include a concealed shower pack, cool touch bar and cool touch diverter showers, creating fully integrated showering solutions with consistent design elements across all components and water-saving technology throughout. Minimalist combines luxury aesthetics with Methven’s patented VJet

technology. Two waterways converge in a chamber behind each nozzle to create a spinning vortex that seamlessly changes speed as you adjust the slider, resulting in a smooth transition from a fi rm invigorating spray to a gentle spray, and everything in between. Optimised to operate at 7.5 litres per minute, VJet signifi cantly reduces

water and energy consumption, helping hoteliers lower utility costs while cutting carbon emissions. ◼ phamnews.co.uk/526/71
