F
or heating engineers and plumbers looking to stay ahead of changes in technology,
regulations and customer demand, InstallerSHOW 2026 promises three days packed with practical ideas and hands-on experience. From heat pumps and solar
integration to tools, bathrooms and electrification, the event continues to reflect the way the industry is evolving. Organisers are expecting over 40,000 visitors across the three days and installers will have the chance to see new products operating live, compare solutions side by side and hear directly from manufacturers and suppliers. Here, we round up the main
features of the show, offering a preview of what visitors can expect across the three packed days at the NEC. Don’t forget to download the official InstallerSHOW app to plan your visit before you arrive.
Hands-on learning One of the major attractions of InstallerSHOW has always been the opportunity to get hands-on with products before making purchasing decisions. Across the halls, visitors will be able to test tools, systems and materials in live working environments, watch installation demonstrations and see the latest innovations operating under real conditions rather than simply on display. The event’s demo zones and
practical sessions are designed to showcase faster working methods, smarter installation techniques and products aimed at improving efficiency on site.
InstallerPLAZA The InstallerPLAZA once again forms the centrepiece of the show, hosting live discussions, practical sessions and debates focused on heating, retrofit and low-carbon technology. Designed to break down major
industry topics into practical information installers can use in their day-to-day work, the Plaza stage will feature panel discussions, technical insight and real-world case studies from across the sector. Alongside the content
programme, the Plaza is one of the show’s key networking spaces, giving installers a place to catch up with colleagues, suppliers and manufacturers throughout the day.
Content theatres InstallerSHOW 2026 will feature 11 CPD-accredited content streams covering everything from technical compliance to business growth. The Installer Electric Theatre will focus on electrical work, battery storage, solar integration and changing regulations, while the Solar & Storage Theatre will explore renewable energy systems, system design and installation opportunities in the growing low-carbon market. The Bathroom Association
Theatre will showcase product demonstrations, installation advice and design trends for bathroom professionals, while the Kitchen Fitter Arena will concentrate on practical fitting techniques, tools and materials aimed at improving consistency and productivity. Elsewhere, the Building
Safety Forum will provide updates on regulations and compliance, and the Trade Talks stage will deliver
straightforward advice on pricing work, managing customers and running a profitable business. The Brand Ambassador
Hub will feature experienced installers sharing lessons learned from real jobs.
Future technologies Electrification will also be a major theme throughout the show, with The EV Cafe acting as a dedicated hub for EV charging infrastructure, electrification products and industry discussions around future demand. The area will also host practical sessions covering regulations, installation guidance and business opportunities in the growing EV sector.
Kitchens & bathrooms The BIFIS Village will feature live kitchen and bathroom installations throughout the show, offering practical insight into fitting techniques, product selection and methods for improving efficiency and finish quality on site. InstallerSHOW will continue
its focus on attracting new talent into the industry through KBB Futures, a dedicated initiative aimed at supporting people entering the sector or looking to develop their careers further. Training providers, employers and industry organisations will all be on hand to discuss apprenticeships, skills and career opportunities.
WIN £10,000!
InstallerSHOW’s £10,000 Giveaway gives one lucky visitor the chance to win a £10k cash prize. To enter, visitors simply need to collect a passport on arrival and gather stamps from participating exhibitors across the show. Once completed, the passport becomes an entry into the grand prize draw, which will take place at the close of the event.
Networking opportunities Beyond the exhibition halls, InstallerSHOW continues to place a strong emphasis on networking and community. The Installer Cafe provides a central meeting point for informal conversations and business discussions during the day, while the Bishop of Manchester pub offers visitors a more relaxed environment to meet suppliers, colleagues and contacts without leaving the show floor. The social side of the event
continues after hours with the official Installer Social afterparty taking place on the evening of 23rd June. Featuring live music from Fix Radio, food, arcade games and live coverage of England’s World Cup match against Ghana, the event gives visitors another chance to unwind and network after the exhibition closes.
Industry awards InstallerSHOW 2026 will again host several major industry awards recognising excellence across heating and plumbing. The Heating Installer
Awards will celebrate outstanding heating engineers from across the UK, with judging focused on technical ability, problem-solving and installation quality.
The Plumber Awards
will recognise plumbing professionals delivering consistently high standards across a range of projects, while the Installer Merit Awards will honour installers who demonstrate professionalism, reliability and commitment to the trade.
World Plumbing Conference One of the standout additions to this year’s event is the return of the World Plumbing Conference to the UK for the first time since 1990. Hosted in partnership with the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering (CIPHE) and the World Plumbing Council, the conference will run alongside InstallerSHOW under the theme ‘Worldwide Problems, Global Solutions’.
