A new Innovation Centre has opened at the Building Centre in London, showcasing electric heating technologies from Devi, including underfloor heating, trace heating and associated control systems. The space is divided into areas demonstrating practical applications, such as insulated pipe installations with self-regulating heating cables and controllers compatible with building management systems. Visitors can also view underfloor
heating installations using decoupling membranes and low- carbon flooring materials, as well as a range of heating cables and thermostat options. Built-up floor modules illustrate how electric heating can be installed beneath different floor finishes, including wood, laminate, tile and carpet. A dedicated thermostat area
presents the company’s latest control technologies, including DeviReg Room, DeviReg Touch Smart Wi-Fi, and Devi Display Connect, which utilises Zigbee 3.0 connectivity to enable integration with smart home applications.
Designed as an interactive
experience, the Devi space allows visitors to engage directly with the products, with QR codes positioned throughout the centre linking directly to detailed product information on the Devi UK website. The modular design allows the
centre to be updated with new technologies and installations over time. The facility is designed for industry professionals, including installers, specifiers and consultants, to examine different electric heating solutions in a practical setting. ◼
