Geberit UK & Ireland has announced the appointment of Matthew Balnaves (pictured) as its new national sales director, succeeding Andy Lever, who was recently appointed managing director following the retirement of Mark Larden. Matthew joins Geberit from Wienerberger, where he held the role of head of commercial excellence.


Scott Riley has been appointed to the newly created position of head of technical solutions - residential at Baxi. With extensive experience of the heating industry, Scott will lead on technical design and delivery for Baxi’s residential division, future proofi ng the company’s growth in the heat pump market.


Stelrad Radiatorshas named James Russell as the company’s new business development manager covering the south west of the UK. Based in Somerset, James joins the company from Ideal Boilers, bringing with him more than 15 years experience in the plumbing and heating sector.


The new regional technical sales manager (North) for Conex Bänninger is Antony Pieroni, who joins the business from Grohe, where he held the position of ASM for the North East. Antony brings extensive sales expertise to the role, having also served as a branch manager for a plumbers’ merchant, giving him insight into both the supplier and customer experience.


Following a successful two years with Kudos Shower Products, Mark Batley has been promoted to national accounts and contracts manager for the business. Mark, who joined Kudos with a wealth of market experience in 2023, will now focus on expanding the contract business and increasing the brand’s presence in the merchant sector.


SFA Sanifl o has appointed James Eeles as area sales manager for Kinedo in the North East & Scotland. Covering Leeds to Inverness, James will support merchants, showrooms and the contracting sector. He joins from TKC, where he gained his fi rst ASM experience. He has also worked for PWS and as a self-employed kitchen sales rep.

Breathing Buildings has announced the return of Huw Poppy as operations director. Previously sales director, Huw brings 20 years of ventilation experience in low-energy design, project delivery and on-site support. He will oversee operational performance across product development, technical design and servicing.


Joining the Industrial and Commercial Heating Equipment Association (ICOM) and Manufacturers of Equipment for Heat Networks Association (MEHNA) as the new technical offi cer is Demi Bozkurt. Coming from a similar role in the freight industry, Demi says she is quickly getting to grips with the commercial heating industry.
