Coping with surge in demand for boiler spares
During the fi rst two weeks of January, City Plumbing has recorded a 21% increase in boiler spares sales and a 25% increase in items picked from branch stock compared with the same period last year, refl ecting a much busier start to the year for plumbing and heating engineers dealing with breakdowns, emergency call-outs and urgent repairs. City Plumbing’s SparesFinder is
an online spare parts identifi cation and ordering tool that helps users locate boiler spares, allowing searches by appliance number,
manufacturer or part number to fi nd the correct components quickly. Once the required part is identifi ed, customers can use a same-day click-and-collect service from local branches or place an order online for next-day delivery, depending on availability. The merchant also stocks
