Water fi lter at the point of use for easy access
Targeting household use, Puure has introduced a tap-mounted fi ltration system designed to fi lter water directly at the point of use, operating as water fl ows from a standard kitchen tap. It is intended for drinking and cooking water and does not require changes to existing plumbing or installation tools. Off ered as a practical alternative
to plastic fi lter jugs and complicated under-sink systems, Puure’s fi ltration solution connects directly to the tap for immediate, on-demand use. The system fi lters water
instantly as it fl ows from the tap, allowing households to access fi ltered water for drinking and cooking without altering existing plumbing or daily routines. The fi ltration technology combines fi ne mechanical fi ltration with activated carbon, targeting common impurities found in tap water while maintaining essential minerals. By integrating fi ltration
directly into the tap, the system is designed to reduce friction and encourage consistent everyday
use, addressing a common limitation of refi ll-based fi ltration products. Material selection plays a central role in Puure’s approach. The fi ltration system is housed
in a stainless steel casing, chosen for its durability and long-term performance compared with plastic alternatives. Stainless steel off ers a more robust and reusable solution aligned with evolving consumer expectations. Unlike under-sink fi ltration systems that require installation work and permanent modifi cations, Puure’s tap-mounted design installs without tools and can be removed easily. ◼

Room controls with built-in sensors
With the launch of the Regio RUX, Regin has enhanced its Regio product family for room control. Together with the updated room controllers Regio Ardo and Regio Eedo, Regio RUX is suitable for larger and more advanced control installations. The wall-mounted room unit
displays sensor data, allows the user to adjust setpoints, and communicates with the controller that governs the system. The product family includes,
among others, Regio RCX as well as the room transmitter Regio RTX, sharing the same design language and functionality.
Like its siblings in the family,
Regio RUX includes several built-in measurement sensors for temperature, humidity, CO2, VOC and PIR. It is available in four white and two black variants and is optimised to work together with the company’s ceiling- mounted room controllers Regio Ardo (24V) and Regio Eedo (230V). The combination provides a
total of 20 and 16 I/O respectively and is a fl exible option for
larger installations. As most of the cabling can be done in a suspended ceiling, the work is simplifi ed and installation time is reduced. Confi guration of Regio RUX
is quick and easy directly in the confi gurator for Regio Ardo and Eedo, Application Tool 2 or the confi guration app Regin:GO, where the unit can also be updated with new features in the future. ◼

Heat recovery shower system
The Rapido Heat Recovery concealed shower system has joined Grohe’s portfolio, designed to reduce energy use associated with heating water, particularly in showers where warm water is typically discharged directly into the drain. The system collects warm
wastewater from the shower drain and transfers residual heat to the incoming coldwater supply through a separate heat exchange pipe. This process pre-heats the cold water before it reaches the thermostat, reducing the overall energy demand required to heat the water to the desired temperature. The system was developed in collaboration with the Dutch company Hamwells, which specialises in sustainable shower technologies. According to Grohe, Rapido
can reduce energy consumption and related carbon emissions from showering by up to 48%, depending on usage and confi guration. For a four-person household, this can translate into lower annual energy costs. The system is compatible with Grohe thermostats, including SmartControl, and supports up to three shower functions. Rapido Heat Recovery is
available in mono and duo versions and off ers two heat exchanger confi gurations. Installation is supported by the integrated Grohe Rapido Shower Frame, which is intended to simplify on-site fi tting. ◼
