NEW PRODUCTS SOLAR SOFTWARE Solar energy management platform

SOLAR EDGE has announced the global rollout of SolarEdge ONE for C&I, a comprehensive software-based energy optimisation platform designed specifically for commercial and industrial (C&I) solar applications. This first-of-its-kind platform

is developed to automatically and constantly manage a site’s energy production, storage and consumption, enabling businesses to maximise energy savings and meet their environmental goals. It utilises real-time data analytics to make intelligent decisions for optimising energy usage. The software platform is intended to

offer EPCs and O&M teams advanced PV monitoring and fleet management tools tailored for C&I applications. It will provide deep performance analysis across entire PV fleets, down to the module level, and features such as remote troubleshooting, device operation and remote configuration to minimise downtime and reduce site visits.

SolarEdge ONE for C&I is designed

to serve as a single ecosystem for controlling and managing a site’s

energy assets, including PV, storage, EV chargers and building assets like HVAC and lighting. The platform aims to provide energy insights to various stakeholders and eliminate the need for complicated third-party integrations. This new SolarEdge suite is targeted at small to medium commercial solar installations, addressing a variety of

needs in the C&I markets. ■ www.solaredge.com/uk

SOLAR PANEL

Solar roofing system with increased power output

The SolarTile range from MARLEY has been enhanced with the addition of the SolarTile 410, a new solar panel that offers a peak power output of 410 watts, providing increased total power generation from a given roof area compared to previous solutions. The SolarTile 410 is designed for

seamless integration with Marley’s existing range of concrete and clay roof tiles, featuring special fixings to accommodate different batten thicknesses. A complete family of colour-coded flashing kits is available to facilitate easy installation. The panel is engineered to deliver

exceptional fire performance, wind resistance and weather-tightness. By offering a more powerful 410Wp panel alongside the existing 335Wp solution, the SolarTile range provides specifiers, housebuilders and contractors greater flexibility to tailor the system to project- specific power requirements. Stuart Nicholson, roof systems

director at Marley, comments : “The new Marley SolarTile 410 panel allows specifiers to incorporate fewer panels to attain a desired power output. It also reduces installation timescales to optimise resource planning and further reduce cost. The Marley SolarTile range integrates perfectly with our full roof system, meaning specifiers, housebuilders and contractors can also benefit from the reassurance of Marley’s 15-year warranty. Additionally, Marley’s team of experts are also on hand to offer complete technical support for the roof

design and panel installation.” ■ www.marley.co.uk
