News Brigantia becomes Elovade UK and Ireland

CYBERSECURITY distributor Brigantia has launched as Elovade UK and Ireland, completing its integration into the pan-European Elovade Group following its acquisition in 2025.

Since the acquisition, the company has traded as Brigantia by Elovade. The move brings the UK and Ireland operation fully under the Elovade name, with the intention of maintaining continuity for partners while widening access to the group’s scale, vendor relationships and broader capabilities across Europe.

The business continues to be led by Managing Director Angus Shaw, who has also joined the Elovade Group board with responsibility for the wider portfolio. Partners will continue to work with the same team, vendor line-up and day-to-day support familiar from Brigantia, now backed by the resources and reach of the European group. Elovade CEO Philip Weber said the transition marks an important step in the company’s European growth. He highlighted the UK and Ireland team’s local market

knowledge, partner relationships and value-added approach, noting that closer alignment with the wider group will support additional opportunities for partners and vendors across the region.

Angus Shaw said launching as Elovade UK

and Ireland represents the next chapter for the business, building on its established reputation in the channel. He added that the company’s portfolio, team expertise and partner relationships continue unchanged within the wider European organisation, with further developments expected in the coming months. Elovade UK and Ireland forms part of one of Europe’s leading value-added distribution groups, combining local channel expertise with the strength of a wider network. Across Europe, Elovade supports more than 25,000 system integrators, MSPs and channel partners with infrastructure, security and managed services solutions. Its approach is based on trust, expertise and tailored support, helping partners safeguard IT environments and reduce operational risks through strategic vendor relationships.

Westcon-Comstor opens flagship London office

WESTCON-COMSTOR has opened a new flagship office in central London, marking a significant investment in the UK and creating a regional hub for partners, vendors and employees across Europe. The 6,000-plus sq ft workspace, located at St

Martin’s Le Grand near St Paul’s Cathedral, brings the distributor into its own London premises for the first time. The company previously shared space in the city with parent firm Datatec. Designed to support hybrid working, the site includes a 22-seat boardroom, flexible training and meeting facilities, breakout areas and hot-desking zones. It will act as the centrepiece of Westcon-Comstor’s European operations while strengthening its ability to convene channel partners and technology vendors in one of the world’s leading business centres. Sustainability features include a high-efficiency heat pump system, LED lighting with occupancy controls, demand-controlled fresh-air distribution and extensive cycling, and shower and locker facilities to encourage lower-impact commuting. The office occupies part of a landmark building dating back to 1925, combining contemporary workplace design with the heritage of the surrounding commercial district. Westcon-Comstor employs more than 500 people across the UK, with established sites in Bracknell, Cirencester and Swindon. Rebura, the AWS cloud consultancy acquired in 2024, continues to operate from its own London premises in Hatton Garden.

“London remains one of the world’s most important technology and business hubs, making this a strategic investment for Westcon-Comstor,” said David Grant, CEO at Westcon-Comstor. “As our business continues to evolve and grow, it’s essential that we have a dedicated space that reflects our ambitions and brings together employees, partners, vendors and other stakeholders in an environment designed for collaboration and innovation. This move represents a long-term commitment to the UK market, to our channel ecosystem and to creating meaningful opportunities for connection, engagement and growth.”
