provides seamless, high-density connectivity across the resort’s staff accommodation, supporting the workforce behind one of the Maldives’ premier luxury island resorts. Providing consistent connectivity across staff accommodation
spread over five residential blocks presented both a structural and operational challenge. At JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa, success depended not on adding more APs alone, but on designing a network that could overcome signal interference while remaining easy to manage at scale. Computers, Zyxel Networks addressed these challenges through a combination of intelligent network design, robust infrastructure and cloud-based management.
Location-centric wireless design Rather than relying on corridor-mounted APs that struggled to provide in-room WiFi because of metal-panel walls, the wireless architecture was redesigned around where connectivity mattered most. Around 95 NWA90AX PRO indoor APs were installed directly in staff rooms to deliver consistent room-level coverage, while NWA55AXE outdoor APs extend reliable WiFi across gardens and other communal spaces.
