Civo Civo has selected a new chief innovation officer, Josh Mesout, who brings a formidable range of cloud-native and machine learning (ML) experience to the role. He arrives at Civo fresh from seven years at AstraZeneca, where he led the teams building the company’s Enterprise Machine learning and AI platforms. His appointment will help accelerate Civo’s mission to build a


better cloud-native world. Mr Mesout will initially be working to develop Civo’s ML program, joining Civo’s leadership team. Mr Mesout said: “Civo is thinking differently about how it


positions its ML products, focusing on being able to be leveraged by organizations of all sizes and scaled gracefully as our customers grow. Lowering the barrier of entry to using Machine Learning to solve your problems and democratizing access to people who aren’t experts in cloud computing or configuring complex machine learning tools.”


HyperJar Rob Rooney has been appointed HyperJar’s new chief executive officer three months aſter joining the Board. Two years since launch, the HyperJar digital


wallet has half a million customers and a slew of awards for its world-first tech features. Mr Rooney’s appointment is a significant step for the firm as it prepares to scale its business-to-consumer and business-to-business offers. Mr Rooney was at Morgan Stanley for 32 years and served as a


member of the firm-wide operating committee; chief executive of Morgan Stanley International; co-global head of fixed income and most recently global head of technology, operations and firm resilience.


TD SYNNEX Maverick Andy Evans has stepped into the role as a senior commercial director at TD SYNNEX Maverick. He wiil be responsible for the European business and will be based in the UK. With over 30 years’ experience


within the AV/IT industry, Mr Evans will lead the business strategy for TD SYNNEX Maverick, working with a portfolio of best-in-class brands including Logitech, Absen, Crestron, Samsung, Lenovo, Avocor, Epson, Microsoſt, Sony and now Zoom. Mr Evans’ career has seen him hold commercial director roles at


integration businesses including market leaders Electrosonic and Kinly, and senior positions at Viju and Cisco. In is new he serves as part of Maverick’s senior management team, overseeing the smart spaces strategy, vendor relationships and channel sales across Europe.

Commvault Commvault has seen Anna Griffin take on the role of chief marketing officer. Ms Griffin is a brand builder and results- driven marketer who has driven visionary campaigns for high-growth SaaS companies such as Smartsheet; emerging brands, like Intercom; and global brands that include Saturn, Apple, Sony, Juniper Networks, and CA Technologies (now Broadcom). She’s earned a slew of marketing awards for campaigns—including the Golden Effies for effectiveness in marketing and the Edgar R. Murrow award for excellence in social media.


Loewe Technology German AV brand, Loewe Technology, has appointed Antony Bunn-Major as its new regional account manager, bolstering Loewe’s presence in the UK. Mr Bunn-Major brings a wealth of


experience, having spent many years working in high end consumer electronics retail at the premium independent retail chain, Music Matters, as well as senior roles at Innuos and Sound United. Commenting on his appointment, Mr Bunn-Major said: “I have

LogicMonitor LogicMonitor has hired Taggart Matthiesen as the company’s new chief product officer (CPO). As CPO, Mr Matthiesen will oversee all aspects of product strategy


for the company and their unified observability platform, LM Envision, including product management, user experience (UX) and data science. In this role, he will be responsible for enhancing LogicMonitor’s ability to provide companies with the full visibility and insights they need to cost-effectively maximise their IT environment’s resilience, performance and adaptability. Prior to this he held key positions at Twitter and Salesforce.
