5 CeramicSpeed BB Alpha The new BB ALPHA product range sets an unprecedented industry standard in terms of bottom bracket performance. Although the previous generation was already the benchmark bottom bracket, CeramicSpeed decided to improve it further. The new BB Alpha uses hardened stainless steel bearings only, custom-made seals, perfected dust covers, and wider compatibility with fewer spacers required. Available for threaded and press-fit bottom bracket shells, the new cup material and design have played a significant part in achieving a 10% weight reduction across the BB ALPHA range.
