“Megabit is built around one idea: backing ambitious developers to succeed”
At the same time, I’ve been engaging with platform holders to
showcase our portfolio and explore new opportunities. It’s been a fast start, but an incredibly exciting one.
Is there an overarching goal that’s driving you through 2026? 2026 is about setting the tone. Our ambition is clear: to become the publisher of choice for ambitious developers. We’ve got a diverse, high-quality lineup that puts us in a strong position to reach players across the board. In a competitive market, we believe indie and AA developers are
leading the charge on innovation - and we’re here to champion that and help those games break through.
For those perhaps not familiar with Megabit, can you give us the elevator pitch? Megabit is built around one idea: backing ambitious developers to succeed. We have significant funding in place and are actively signing
standout PC and console titles. But we’re not chasing volume - we’re focused on building deep, collaborative partnerships with teams we truly believe in. From world-wide influencer campaigns to QA
to award-winning creative, we offer full-spectrum publishing support. Our lineup - including Lou’s Lagoon, Hello
Sunshine, Pathfinder: Abomination Vaults, OMUT, Thick as Thieves, and Verdant - reflects that commitment to originality and quality.
What are the key titles on your radar right now? It’s a busy time; we’ve just announced that Lou’s Lagoon is heading to PlayStation and Xbox alongside Steam and Switch, with a fantastic response from players. Hello Sunshine made a strong impression at the
Future Games Show, and there’s more to come soon. We’ve also got exciting updates on Thick as Thieves on

the way, while continuing to build momentum around Pathfinder: Abomination Vaults and OMUT.
You’re open to developers pitching ideas to you direct; what’s your general criteria for getting involved in a project? We’re looking for that instant “hell yeah.” A clear hook. A strong identity. Something that stands out. We want to see a compelling vision backed by proof - whether that’s a prototype, vertical slice, or demo - and a team with a plan that matches their ambition. If a project hits those marks, we want to hear about it.
What can we expect from you across the rest of 2026 and beyond? This is just the beginning. 2026 is where we define what Megabit stands for - through our games, our partnerships, and how we show up in the market. We’ve got a real opportunity to build momentum, create
excitement, and lay the foundations for long-term success - and that’s exactly what we plan to do.
