MCV/DEVELOP AWARDS 2026 What is there left to say about the best awards on the planet! The MCV/ DEVELOP Awards have been around for over 20 years and aim to recognise the successes of the UK games industry in every area that it excels, from innovations in game creation, to accomplishments in recruitment, PR, retail and the media. They’re a key industry event in the games calendar and bring together its exceptionally talented people for a night of celebration and enjoyment.

Last year’s MCV/DEVELOP Awards were the largest ever, both in terms of nominations and attendance, and this year we intend to go even bigger, with two international categories aimed at celebrating not just the efforts of those in the UK, but around the whole world.

The awards will be returning on Thursday, June 18, 2026 and will be held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, which overlooks London’s Hyde Park.

As you might expect, you can find tons of information about the event on our website, so get Googling now!

DEVELOP:BRIGHTON 2026 Develop:Brighton is the only event in the UK that brings the entire game- making industry together - from micro indies to global studio superstars - to learn from each other, share ideas and experiences, network and do business in a friendly and inclusive environment.

Our 2025 event attracted a huge 5,500 attendees and we can’t wait to welcome the games industry back this year, on the 20-year anniversary of Develop:Brighton.

The 2026 programme is already starting to take shape, and we are thrilled to announce some brilliant speakers, with more to be confirmed very soon. The programme will have something for everyone - with tracks covering every discipline of game making. Our focus for 2026 will continue to be delivering practical takeaways and vocational content to give you the chance to “skill- up” and do what you do even better.
