Hallo Deutschland, Hello Vancouver
ello, dear reader! It doesn’t feel like long at all since I last wrote one of these, as we’ve had to do a bit of a speedrun to get this issue to the printer in time for it to be mailed around the world to be distributed at both gamescom in Cologne, Germany, and the
XDS External Development Summit in Vancouver, Canada. I won’t lie, it has been a bit of a hectic time, as all of this has also coincided with the MCV
Women in Games Awards event planning, nominations and shortlisting, but I promise you that this issue of the magazine (and our upcoming awards show that celebrates women in our industry) are both just as good, if not better than ever.
If you’re interested in sponsoring the MCV Women in Games ceremony in America Square (this issue is sounding very international) you should reach out to Vanessa Joyce as soon as possible, as she’s very good and you won’t want to miss your chance to reach out before every package has been sold already.

I think we’ve succeeded, but you’ll have to let me know.
