This year’s theme, Collaboration + Innovation: How Can Food Science and Technology Transform the Food System?, sets the stage for a dynamic exploration of food-related advancements. Ameel Candy World celebrates its 25th anniversary with the world’s largest candy cake
Ameel Candy World commemorates its 25th anniversary by constructing the world’s largest candy cake, made from 349,089 candies. The celebration includes a special event featuring national and international suppliers offering trade deals and showcasing new products. Ameel Candy World serves a diverse clientele, exporting 20% of its confectionery to over 32 countries. The
company invites associations to assist in building the cake, with six associations selected based on criteria such as motivation and location. Partnering with Belgian and international confectionery suppliers, the massive cake is unveiled during the fair, where customers can take photos and witness its official cutting ceremony. Afterward, the cake’s building blocks are distributed to selected associations for fundraising purposes, emphasising Ameel Candy World’s commitment to community engagement and social responsibility.
