Holger Wetzler appointed Managing Director of Bell Flavours & Fragrances EMEA


In the year of its 30th anniversary, Bell Flavours & Fragrances is reorganising its management team. Holger Wetzler (48) took over the role as Managing Director of the Leipzig-based company on 1 May 2023. As a business graduate with many years’ experience in the industry, he is now responsible for all business units and international locations of Bell Flavours & Fragrances GmbH in Europe, Middle East and Africa. “With Holger Wetzler, we are gaining


an experienced industry expert who understands the needs of our customers. Having been responsible for large parts of the value chain during his career, Holger knows all facets of the fragrance  Bell to be even more successful and

He brings more than two decades of sales and marketing  industry as well as various consumer goods companies. In close co-operation with the existing management team, Holger Wetzler will continue to build on Bell’s long-standing success story. Raymond Heinz, who founded Bell Flavours & Fragrances GmbH in Leipzig in 1993 and has successfully managed the company ever since, will remain with the company to ensure a smooth transition.


Foodchain ID appoints Conor Kearney as CEO


FoodChain ID, food safety, testing, and sustainability organisation, has announced that its Board of Directors appointed Conor Kearney as CEO, effective immediately. Mr. Kearney succeeds Brad Riemenapp, who led FoodChain ID as CEO for more than  after bravely battling cancer. Kearney joined FoodChain ID in 2021 and most recently served as Interim CEO during Mr. Riemenapp’s medical leave of absence. Prior to that, Kearney was FoodChain ID’s Senior Vice President of Strategy and Operations. Before joining FoodChain ID, he spent 11 years at Staples Inc. in numerous leadership roles, most recently managing a multi- billion product division, and 5 years at McKinsey & Company. Kearney earned his MBA from Harvard Business School
