Dr. Zeno Staub, Chief Executive Officer of Vontobel Holding AG, a Swiss listed globally active investment firm majority- owned by the Vontobel families and a charitable foundation, was unanimously elected to Bühler Group’s Board of Directors on September 22, 2022. Dr. Zeno Staub (53) was unanimously


elected to Bühler’s Board of Directors at an extraordinary general shareholders’ meeting today. With his appointment, the Board of Directors is gaining an accomplished executive with nearly three decades of investment experience.


Swiss national Dr. Zeno Staub started


his career as a founding shareholder and managing partner at Almafin AG, St. Gallen, Switzerland, where he was active from 1994 to 2000 in consulting and software development specialising in risk management, asset and liability management, and legal reporting. Dr. Zeno Staub studied economics at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, where he received his doctorate (Dr. oec. HSG) in 1997.


Syntegon Group appoints Dr. Peter Hackel as CFO


The Syntegon Group, a global supplier of processing and packaging technology, intends to appoint Dr. Peter Hackel as member of the Executive Board at the beginning of 2023. In his new position, as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Peter Hackel will be responsible for Finance & Controlling, Foreign Trade and IT of Syntegon. He will be located at Beringen, Switzerland.. Peter Hackel is a well-rounded, highly


accomplished executive, experienced within Sales as well as in Finance and in this capacity has served as Chief Financial Officer in different companies for more than nine years. He started his career with McKinsey & Company Inc. followed by


Geistlich Pharma AG, Oerlikon Corporation AG and most recently at Straumann Holding AG, where he has significantly contributed to the positive development of the company as Group Chief Financial Officer and member of the Group Executive Management Board since 2014. He successfully led growth and restructuring projects, among others as responsible for Finance, Investor Relations, IT, Operational Excellence, Procurement and Sustainability. He holds a PhD degree in Molecular Biology from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich, Switzerland, and studied Business Administration at the University of Hagen, Germany.


The Hershey Company names new Global Chief Sales Officer


The Hershey Company announced that Marlene Creighton has been named as Global Chief Sales Officer, effective as of September 5, 2022. After 26 years with Hershey, Phil Stanley, currently serving in this role, will transition out of the company to pursue his next opportunity following a very successful sales career at Hershey.
