CURRENT LEGAL CONTEXT IN DENMARK
In 2025, Denmark introduced signifi cant compliance requirements: the Danish Gambling Authority updated certifi cation rules so that operators and license holders must submit documentation independently – a major regulatory shift with a transition period until July 2025.
Additionally, mandatory B2B licensing was introduced: from January 2025, all suppliers of betting and casino games must hold a valid B2B license, with the application process having opened in September 2024.
