This year’s move to Lisbon is especially exciting. This vibrant city will bring fresh energy to the event and refl ects how our industry keeps moving, evolving and growing. Portugal is now one of Europe’s most interesting markets, so it makes sense for SBC Summit to be held there. I can already imagine what the atmosphere will be like: a mix of serious business conversations, spontaneous networking, and plenty of inspiration, not to mention some great parties!
For the industry, the SBC Summit is more than just another conference, it’s where innovation is showcased, partnerships are formed, and the next wave of ideas is sparked. Whether it’s advances in AI, player engagement tools, or regulatory insights, this is the place where those conversations happen face to face, and that’s invaluable in a sector moving as fast as ours.
On a personal level, I can’t wait to be part of it for the fi rst time. There’s something special about fi nally stepping into an event you’ve been previewing all year and getting to experience it in real life. I’m looking forward to catching up with familiar contacts, putting faces to emails, and meeting new people who are just as passionate about iGaming as I’ve become.
So yes, Lisbon – bring it on! I’ve got my notebook ready, my schedule fi lling up fast, and plenty of enthusiasm for what promises to be one of the standout industry gatherings of the year.
