and assessed, eight stores across Brighton.
This retailer opened its first store in Haywards Heath in 1987, and this flagship store in Brighton opened nine years later in 1996.
I had just moved into a new house, and I wanted to replace the built-in oven. Inside the store, I was greeted by Robert, who asked if I needed any help. The first product Robert presented was from Bosch (HQA574BS3B), priced at £499. He explained that this model had a net capacity of 71 litres, a muti-function fan-assisted oven, with steam feature, and a five-year warranty, once registered.
The second model Robert presented was
from Neff (B6ACH7AG7B), priced at £799. Robert demonstrated the Slide&Hide function,
which as a disabled woman, would make a world of difference. He added that that the oven can be controlled by the Home Connect app, while pyrolytic cleaning enables the oven interior to clean itself.
He concluded by telling me that the Neff
model comes with a two-year guarantee but added that Neff models are built to a higher standard.

Robert knew his stuff and his demonstration on Slide&Hide was very good. His mention of the sale prices and the guarantee periods were attempts to close the sale. The store was well presented, and its lamppost advertising in the vicinity of the store was very dominant.
